Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore stretches along the south shore of Lake Superior. Visitors enjoy the park by car and can explore the area while hiking, boating, camping and bicycling during the summer. Winter months bring opportunities for visitors to enjoy ice climbing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.
