Winter Slips Away
The waterfall collects the cold time of winter.
Frozen, the seasons pause to rest.
In spring the waterfall releases its grip on time. It pours the winter back and awakens the woods.
Listen,
the summer rings with the sounds of water. Crashing and splashing.
Dancing and alive
it brings new energy to the once petrified world.
And winter slips away.
