Molly Ortolano Assistant Coach (First Season)
Molly Ortolano enters her first year as assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Siena College. Ortolano graduated from UAlbany this past May as a two- year letterwinner on the women’s lacrosse team. She will assist with all aspects of the program.
“I am thrilled to have Molly join our
program as a former Division I student-athlete,” said head coach Andrea Duffy. “She has great experience to draw from and I feel that she will have a great impact with our student- athletes achieving our team goals.”
Ortolano has worked local lacrosse camps the past four summers. In 2007 and 2008, she served as Albany Elite’s head coach. Her responsibilities included coordinating and coaching weekly practices and tournaments. She also worked Colonie’s Youth Center lacrosse camp as both a counselor and director. She taught basic and intermediate skills to girls age 10-13. As director she was responsible for administrative tasks and hiring coaches.
Ortolano earned her bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in education. She was UAlbany’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative for women’s lacrosse this past year, organizing fundraising efforts for non-profit organiza- tions and participation in community service projects.
KaytlinMcCormick Assistant Coach (First Season)
Kaytlin McCormick enters her first year as assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Siena College.
“Kaytlin’s positive energy and lacrosse background will make her a very successful coach here at Siena,” Duffy said. “I am looking forward to working with her.”
McCormick graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in January 2010. She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science with a concentration in coaching and wellness.
McCormick led UMass with 35 goals and 45 points in 2008. She finished her career with 66 goals, 14 assists and 80 points in 36 games. She was named to the inaugural Atlantic 10 All- Rookie Team. She served as the women’s lacrosse team’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative for four years.
McCormick graduated from Saratoga Springs High School in 2005. She was a two-time U.S. Lacrosse All-American for the Blue Streaks.

Page 50
