May Bank Holiday

This May bank holiday weekend sees the international festival of hip-hop dance theatre popping and locking its way back to London town. Breakin’ Convention returns for its seventh year from 1st – 3rd May and features performers from Japan, the USA, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, France, plus one of the strongest UK line-ups the festival has ever seen. With award- winning DJ crew En4Cers in the foyer delivering mad skills on the decks (DJ Pogo, Cutmaster, Swift and DJ Biznizz), the event is set to be a raw music and dance extravaganza.

We chatted to DJ Biznizz about keeping the old school alive.

TOP 100 CLUBS 2010 RESULTS

The pride of Manchester, Sankeys storms to victory in the fi rst purely clubber-voted DJmag Top 100 Clubs poll jumping a mas- sive 15 places to replace Berlin’s Berghain/ Panorama Bar at the number 1 spot. For the fi rst time in its history DJmag’s Top 100 Clubs 2010 was decided purely by clubbers.

It represents the most comprehensive clubs poll ever with over 80,000 clubbers from across the planet pledging their votes for their favourite dancefl oors.
