Average Salary Increase: By prime professional activity
Based on the survey respondents, those employed in Retail Development, Fund Management and Development Management enjoy the highest average earnings (e.g. > R600,000 per annum), while at the other end of the spectrum those employed in Marketing & Sales, Brokerage, Planning, Retail Centre Management and Property Management earn the lowest earnings within the property industry (e.g. < R300,000). Those employed in Retail Development, Fund Management, Research/Analysis and Interior Design secured the highest average salary increase across the property industry, however these findings need to take into consideration the response rate of below 50 per prime professional activity and hence treated with “care”.
