l Seventh-ranked Duke improved to 5-3 with two non-conference wins at home. The Blue Devils defeated Penn State, 20-11, on Saturday, and routed Dartmouth on Tuesday night, 15- 3. l Against Penn State, the trio of Ned Crotty,
Zach Howell and Max Quinzani combined
for 10 goals and eight assists to lead Duke’s attack. l The Blue Devils outshot Penn State, 41-34, and held a 43-26 advantage in ground balls. l Seven different players registered goals in Tuesday’s 15-3 win over visiting Dartmouth. Howell and Quinzani recorded four goals and one assist each. Crotty, who leads the nation in assists, tallied five points on one goal and four assists. l Duke held Dartmouth scoreless for a 34-minute period over three quarters while going on a 9-0 run in that time. Michael Manley led the defense with four caused turnovers.
l Freshman goaltender Dan Wigrizer
registered seven saves, while Mike Rock added one save.
