families throughout the year, both in
the House and in the Gardens.
The Woodland Playground
and Amphitheatre
A popular area for children of all ages.
The Stables Shops Traditional toys,
ice-cream and old-fashioned sweets,
many at pocket money prices.
Explorer Trail The Explorer Trail takes
you around two routes in the Gardens,
discovering all sorts of fascinating facts
about animals and plants along the way.
Don’t forget to collect your badge from
the Stables shop when you have finished
the trail.
MAD Adds up to Music, Art, Dance and
Drama, our annual summer music and
arts festival, now in its fifth season. Come
and join in, or even better, persuade your

Children’s Activities in the House
Every Wednesday throughout August,
a chance to tour the House before it
opens to the public with your own
Waddesdon Manor guide. See page 22
for details.We also have a family audio
tour and a children’s trail (the
Waddesdon Safari), so there is plenty
for younger visitors to enjoy.
Easter Weekend The National Trust
and Cadbury are teaming up again to
provide an Easter weekend to remember.
Includes family favourite Easter Trails with
a chocolate egg for everyone who finds
all the clues and don’t forget the giant
egg in the Aviary.
