ShoppingThe Manor Shop has exclusive ranges of
items created just for Waddesdon, perfect mementos
of your visit or unique gifts, as well as Rothschild wines,
speciality foods, fabulous jewellery, bags and gardening
gifts. Retro toys, old-fashioned confectionery and
whipped ice-cream make the Stables shop, close to
the Woodland Playground, a real draw for families.
Eating Eat in the atmospheric Manor Restaurant,
once the Old Kitchen, (reservations on 01296 643242),
serving coffees and breakfasts during the morning 10-
12, set seasonal lunch menus, snacks and full à la carte
meals from 12-3, and teas from 3-5. The family
orientated Stables café is open 10-5 for simple, freshly
made dishes of the day, soup, jacket potatoes
sandwiches, cakes and ice-cream. Drinks, snacks and
ice-creams are also available from the Coffee Bar and
Summerhouse (open 11-5 when the weather allows).
