basketballteams’homeattendancehassoaredintothetop-80in

Siena’s17homegameslastseason.

top-10percentnationallyingraduationsuccessrate(GSR), openedin
academicprogressrate(APR)andgraduationrates. 2000,serves

Afull-timeacademicadvisorison-handtoensurethiscontinued backdropto
academicexcellencewhileprovidingassistanceforstudent- thebaseball
athletes,helpinginclassschedulingandsettinguptutors.In fieldandisa
2002,anassistantadvisorwashiredtoassistwiththeNCAA’s shortwalk
ChampsLifeSkillsinitiative–knownasS.A.IN.T.S.(Supporting fromanypoint
AthletesinTheirSuccess)atSiena.Thedepartment’smajor oncampus.

theconstructionofanewstudyhallfacility
fortheexclusiveuseofstudent-athletes.
Thecenterreceivedafaceliftthispast
season,bringingtolightthecurrentand
pastsuccessesofthedepartment’sstudent-
athletes.Thestudyloungeislocatedonthe
secondflooroftheMACandincludesall
theamenitiesandtechnologicalresources
neededtoassurethecontinuedacademic
successforSiena’sstudent-athletes.
