After the news of the devastating earthquake in Haiti on
January 12 sunk in, it didn’t take long for Arizona residents
to start coalescing relief efforts and generous donations.
Most early efforts focused on meeting the physical
needs of the survivors of the earthquake, but the human
spirit, too, needs nourishment. One news story tells of
