Say “no” to triggers.
Certain foods and drinks (like alcohol and drinks with caffeine) can irritate your bladder and cause you to urinate more often.
Find out what triggers your leaks, then avoid these items. Visit
HealthyAdvice.com/ OABFoods for a complete list of triggers.
Practice double voiding.
If you don’t completely empty your bladder when you urinate, you may have to go again too soon.
To double void: after you finish urinating, stand up or shift your position and try going again.
