Duke Football Teams With N.C. Central To Spread Holiday Cheer
Chris Rwabukamba can’t wait to return to his home in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, next week for the holidays.
“I get to see my family and spend some [quality] family time,” the Duke cornerback said. “Get some snow, make some snow men, drink some hot chocolate
and sit around and watch some football.”
Bryan Morgan is looking forward to catching up with his brother, who is a junior left tackle for his high school team, and the rest of his family in Hoover,
Ala.
“We [Morgan and his brother] can’t wrestle anymore,” Morgan said. “Pops gets mad when we wrestle because we are so much bigger. We really need
to be careful. We are not mean toward each other, but we just need to be careful because we are not little kids anymore.”
But before either of them left Durham to enjoy the holidays with family and friends, they took time out of their day, along with 30 other Duke and N.C.
Central football players, to help bring Christmas to less fortunate girls in the
Durham area.
For the second year in a row, both Duke and N.C. Central joined together
with the Durham Parks and Recreation Shoebox Christmas program.
Last year, Karen Cutcliffe, wife of Duke head coach David Cutcliffe,
and Marilynn Rison, wife of N.C. Central head coach Mose Rison, got
together to bring the two Durham schools together.
“This is actually my first time doing this,” Morgan said. “I did not do this

from other teams,” he added. “It is not so much about us being from Duke
