Guys Grilling and Mudders Chilling
The Alumni Association Board of Governors (AABoG) hosted
a cookout for sophomores and juniors in September that fea-
tured the entertaining Two Guys Grilling (described as “The
Odd Couple Grills Dinner”). AABoG members hold such
events to mentor and support current students.

and introduce them and their parents to some of the extended
Mudd family in their area. They provide a friendly, casual op-
portunity to ask questions, make connections and alleviate any
anxiety associated with starting that first year of college. Events
were held this year in Northern and Southern California (in-
cluding one on the HMC campus hosted by the HMC Par-
ents Association), Minnesota, Oregon, Arizona, Washington,
Colorado and New York. Alumna Pennie Gordon ’87 hosted
a gathering at her home in Alameda, Calif.
