Now that we have the “I can’t Draw” excuse covered lets
move onto some other tools to help you down the road of
learning how to airbrush, stencils and templates. In this sec-
tion we will just touch on using these tools from a beginners
prospective and delve deeper into these tools later in issue
0.
Decorative stencils like those pictured above can be pur-
chased at any hobby/art store and are great for use in
airbrush projects. The stencil need not be marketed specifi-
cally for airbrushing to be useful in your airbrush projects so
look in other departments at your local hobby/art store for
stencils. The only requirement would be if you’re using sol-
vent type automotive paint in your airbrush project that the
stencil be solvent proof.
