innate wisdom can direct its own healing. Every organ in the
body operates with its own set of frequencies.
Jordana studied abroad with the pioneers of energy medi-
cine. Her practice uses various tools – including the Ondamed,
SCENAR, GDV, Esogetic Colorpuncture, ZYTO LSA Pro, and
more – to tap into the body’s abilities to heal and rejuvenate
itself. She is bringing her practice in-house to work alongside
with Dr. Martha Grout at the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine in Scottsdale.
As Dr. Stephen T. Sinatra and others have noted, energy medicine is the future of
medicine.
The Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine is located at 9328 E. Raintree Drive in
Scottsdale. More information is available at

West African Drum Workshops
M
aster drummer Mamady Keita is teaching West African
drum workshops at the Mesa Arts Center October 16-
18, sponsored by Arizona Drum and Dance.
Drummers of all ages can learn from a genuine master
drummer. Mamady is considered by many to be the world’s
best djembe player and sets the standard by which other
professionals are measured. He has been based in Belgium
since 1988 where he founded his school of percussion, Tam
Tam Mandingue, which now has schools in France, Germany,
Japan and the United States. Mamady has recorded over 12 CDs
videos, and has co-authored the definitive book, “A Life for the
Djembe.”

Djembe workshops and additional African drum and dance events and classes,

Brainwave Retraining
A
rizona residents struggling with emotional, stress-related and learning dif-
ficulties now have a new option other than just medication or talk therapy.
Neurointegration Therapy from Scottsdale-based Arizona MindWorks is a non-
invasive and non-drug approach to dealing with these difficulties.
Neurointegration Therapy is a type of biofeedback that combines EEG (elec-
troencephalogram) therapy, Photic (light) stimulation, and audio/visual approaches
to help guide the brain back to functioning in a more normal pattern.
This new therapy is used to help those suffering from a long list of medical
disorders and difficulties including: depression, anxiety, chronic fatigue, fibro-
myalgia, ADD/ADHD, headaches, insomnia, OCD, and mood disorders, that are
caused by brain wave disregulation. By retraining abnormal brainwave patterns,
Arizona MindWorks uses Neurointegration Therapy to assist the brain to function
better, rather than curing a condition.
Each aspect of Neurointegration Therapy has its own specific purpose. The
EEG acts like a mind mirror, showing how your brain is functioning and telling
you if you are on the right track. The photic (light) stimulation helps guide your
brainwaves into a correct pattern. The music (audio) and visuals reward the brain
for changing its own activity to more appropriate patterns. Since the brain is a
“learning machine,” the brainwave activity is eventually “shaped” toward a more
desirable and regulated performance, which provides long-lasting results.
