Facilities
AthleticStudyCenterReceivesaFacelift
Siena’s student-athletes continuetorankatthetopof theclass, and
thispastyear, thedepartmenttookabigsteptowardmakingsurethese
achievements don’tgounnoticed. Thenewlyredesignedathleticacademic
studycenterfocusesonthesuccessstudent-athletesachieveonandoffthe
field.Theshowpieceisamural thatfeaturesseveral formerstudent-athletes
whohavegoneontoprominentcareersinvarious disciplines. Themural
includes photographs of
thepersonasbothaSiena
student-athleteandintheir
current profession, along withaquotefromeachfocusing onhow
their Sienaeducationhelpedthem getwheretheyaretoday.The
two-room studycenteralsohighlightstheathleticdepartment
missionwithlargephotossymbolizingeachof thedepartment’s
corevalues (community, equity, integrityandstudent-centered).
