Inspired choose Gauselmann
I
nspired Gaming Group, a leading player in Open Server-Based Gaming has
announced a strategic alliance with the Gauselmann Group, Germany’s largest
machines operator, to manufacture Inspired’s new high definition gaming cabinet
‘Storm’.
Created and designed in-house at Inspired, Storm is the new best-in-class
widescreen cabinet and sets new standards in reliability. It offers high definition
gaming and adjustable live feed, all on Inspired’s Open Server-Based Gaming™
platform.
The modern design of the next generation cabinet requires advanced
manufacturing techniques and a bespoke approach to tooling. Given the need for
the highest quality of build and the need to install high volumes of Storm
cabinets within a very short timeframe, Gauselmann’s experience in high quality
and high volume gaming machine manufacturing will allow Inspired to roll out the
Storm cabinets in line with UK and international demand.
Williams takes on MEA

M Touch Systems, a division of diversified technology company
3M, has announced that Dave Williams, European Operations
Manager, is now responsible for UK gaming accounts and sales
development activity in the UK, Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Williams will continue to report to European Business Manager
Francesco Fasoglio but will also work closely with Andrea Goeb and
the sales team in Germany. Joining 3M from MicroTouch Systems in
2001, Williams has a background that spans business management in
operations, supply chain, technical and quality roles. He brings a
wealth of experience in dealing directly with customers and will be
instrumental in helping to further develop the Touch Systems Euromat turns 30
business in the UK gaming sector.

EUROMAT welcomed four new members into the association,
namely the national gaming associations from Croatia, Greece,
Serbia and Slovakia. “The enlargement of the Federation to 23
members is a validation of the usefulness of a European Federation
to national players”, said the President. “We look back on the past
30 years with pride at what we have achieved, and look forward to
continued influence and growth at EU level for the next 30 years”.
EUROMAT members also agreed the Federation work plan for this
year. The association will engage at EU level on a wide range of
issues of relevance to the sector, not least on responsible gambling,
remote gambling, the draft Consumer Rights Directive and the
Council work expected under the Swedish Presidency on gambling
policy in the EU.
