We’re currently looking for experienced professionals to join our dedicated Property and Facilities Management Team in a variety
of roles. Our team look after 600 centrally managed buildings nationwide and so you’ll have an excellent opportunity to work
right at the heart of the service. You’ll bring with you specialist experience and work with our PFI providers to ensure we keep
our estate safe.
Fire Safety Manager Permanent – £45,399 p.a.
In this specialised role you will make sure that an all-encompassing FRA is produced and you’ll address all regulatory and
statutory requirements site-wide to ensure coordinated, effective fire safety arrangements are in place. Significant experience
in fire engineering or operational fire and rescue is essential and you’ll have industry knowledge together with team leading
and mentoring skills.
Energy Manager Permanent – £32,790 p.a. (Pay Award Pending)
You’ll champion the reduction of energy use and carbon emissions, providing specialist technical reviews, advice and improvements
in all aspects of building-related energy performance issues and conservation and helping us keep our costs down. Previous
experience and knowledge of this area is essential, particularly within energy management and large outsourced accounts.
Technical Assurance and Standards Manager Permanent – £45,399 p.a.
You’ll provide high quality, safe and efficient management to the regulatory operation of the Facilities Management team,
combining an understanding of change for policy compliance with gaining team-orientated results. You’ll build crucial forecasts
and review trends, regulations and compliance. Previous experience in engineering or facilities management is essential, as is
a background in building and engineering services, you will also need an HNC in engineering.
Regional Technical Services Manager (Regional Engineer)
Permanent – £32,790 p.a. (Pay Award Pending) – Up to £37k may be awarded for an exceptional
candidate
You’ll lead a Facilities Management team to ensure all our buildings comply fully with technical, engineering and facilities-related
statutes and regulations, and that landlords/PFI providers meet obligations. There is plenty of scope for team building and role
modelling safe, high quality management. Facilities management and building services experience is crucial, and you’ll also need
an HNC in engineering.
HVAC Engineer FTA 2 years – £32,790 p.a. (Pay Award Pending)
Working with colleagues in energy and environment, you’ll provide specialist advice and champion our national strategy to
ensure HVAC and BMS equipment is optimised for thermal and air quality comfort in the workplace. You’ll also play a key role
in reducing energy consumption and achieving plant optimisation. Significant experience of those systems is crucial and you’ll
have sound knowledge of psychometric processes and building and engineering services together with an HNC and registration.
