What makes Temecula a terrific ‘Horsetown?’
Katherine Rich I know it’s a wonderful place to live and
grow up. I’m not saying that because it’s the only place I’ve ever lived. I have traveled quite a bit, and I always look forward to coming home because you can’t beat our
climate, you can’t beat our scenery, and you can't beat our location because we are one hour or less from some of the biggest shows in the country. It’s an environment that’s really conducive to owning, breed- ing, and training horses.
Dana Hokana I love Temecula! From a trainer and
breeder’s point of view, I love the open land and beautiful rolling hills, as well as the close proximity to a lot of the horse shows in Temecula, L.A. and San Diego. Also,
in Temecula, we are close to some of the greatest vets, farriers and other horse trainers in the country! I have wonderful sandy ground to ride and train on! As a bonus, when we are ready for a break, we have beautiful historic old town, and the restaurants in the wineries to enjoy.

variety of breeds and disciplines. And, people support and help out one another. We’ve had fi res in the past, and people responded with a call to check on you, letting
you know that if you need to bring your horses you can. I think there are nice properties around
here, it’s horse-friendly. Riverside County is easy to work with as far as zoning and your building. It’s a little more aff ordable than moving closer in, and that’s realisti-
