quality HDV + AVCHD
Make HDV work for your production by taking advantage of its light
weight, ability to cope in low light and affordability

idely used for corporate films, ob docs

camera is crucial, HDV is an evolving
format. The affordability, compact size and low
light capabilities of the HVR-Z7E meant it
perfectly suited the job of shooting Brandcast’s
corporate film about mining, whereas ST16’s road
safety viral Speed Dating needed a model that was not
too heavy such as the HVR-A1E to film inside a
car. Sony’s new point of view camera, the HXR-
MC1P, enabled New Earth Films to capture a
variety of unique perspectives onto AVCHD when
filming a documentary film about a 1,600km bike
ride along the Baja California peninsular in Mexico.
