So, what’s it like, living, sleeping, cooking,
washing, in a caravan or motorhome?
Well, very much the same as it is in your
own home, really. Maybe on a somewhat
smaller scale, but, unless you go for a very,
very basic model, you’ll enjoy all the little
luxuries you take for granted there.
Hot water will come from your taps and
your shower. Ice for your cocktails will
come from the fridge, naturally! Warmth
will come from efficient built-in heating.
Modern caravans are very well
insulated, so you’ll not be chilly, or have to
spend a fortune on heating. Sophisticated
gas heating systems are fitted with blown
air systems to circulate the warm air. Of
course, the windows will be double-
glazed, too.
You could well be watching TV or
listening to the radio, iPod or hi-fi with
your bare feet snuggled into soft carpets
and then sleeping soundly in your comfy
full-sized bed with a sprung mattress.
