and go green!...
Recently a couple of keen caravanners conducted a test to find
out the petrol consumption of a typical car towing a caravan.
They chose a Ford Focus 1.6 Econetic towing a five-berth
caravan from British maker Lunar Caravans and toured Europe
covering over 1500 miles.
After a grand tour across nine countries they discovered
to their surprise that the average figure for the journey
was a staggeringly efficient 36 miles per gallon, or 7.85 litres
per 100km.

goes by, when you get more into touring.
A device such as a caravan mover to help
you position your caravan more easily,
can be very handy, for instance.
With a motor caravan it’s even easier.
