Project:Involve (P:I) is dedicated to increasing diversity in the fi lm industry by cultivating the careers of fi lmmakers from under represented
communities. P:I provides its Fellows with one-on-one mentorships with industry professionals, master workshops, free community screenings,
and career development. P:I runs in Los Angeles from October through June.

FAST TRACK

A joint program of Film Independent and Filmmaker Magazine, Fast Track is a fi nancing market taking place during the Los Angeles Film
Festival. Designed to help fi lmmakers move their current projects forward, Fast Track connects them with fi nanciers, production compa-
nies, and other industry professionals. This highly selective program is open to established as well as up-and-coming fi lmmakers with
exceptional projects still seeking funding.

Designed to help directors who are prepping their feature fi lms, the Directors Lab is an intensive seven-week program running in
Los Angeles each spring in which Lab Fellows workshop scenes from their features. Film Independent provides Lab Fellows with camera
and sound packages to shoot their workshopped scenes.
