Climbers aren’t diff erent from writers or artists or lawyers. If you are passionate about what you do, your goal is to get better at your job or craſt . You want to excel given the challenges you face. Climbing is a combination of physical


strength, problem solving, management of fear, and creativity. It takes all of this to solve the physical puzzle presented by the rock face itself. Climbing combines skills and emotions in ways that other sports don’t. T ere are real risks. It’s kind of addictive in that way. Oman was a fantastic climbing experience. Now, I can’t wait to plan my next adventure and start thinking about the pictures I will capture.
