What else would you expect from a wild Major League Lacrosse season — in which seven teams fi nished the regular season tied for fi rst place — than a championship game that goes right down to the wire? Kyle Harrison (pictured) and the Ohio Machine led 9-3 before a 97-minute weather delay, as Fifth Third Bank Stadium turned into a water park. Denver stormed back from a 14-7 halftime defi cit and hometown hero Eric Law (see page 16) sealed the highest- scoring championship game in MLL history with 12.9 seconds remaining to give the Outlaws a 19-18 victory Aug. 21 in Kennesaw, Ga.
