Contractors Clearing Right of Way

Choctaw Electric members located east of Broken Bow may notice contractors working in their area. Choctaw Electric is using right of way crews from Northeast Rural Service/NRS to clear brush, trees and other undergrowth from lines feeding from the Mountain Fork River substation.

All vehicles will be clearly marked with the Northeast Rural Services (NRS) logo. Please see that crews have access to lines that may cross your property. If you have questions or concerns, please call CEC at 800-780-6486. Thank you for your cooperation!

Music Video Honors Linemen

Country and western performers love to sing about fathers, mothers, soldiers and other heroes. Finally, they're tipping the hat to America's linemen.

The band Steele released their music video "The Lineman" that celebrates the dedication of linemen across the U.S. The lyrics and film footage capture a glimpse of the dangers linemen face while highlighting what the world might be like without the electricity we often take for granted. The song is available on iTunes and Amazon. Watch the video on YouTube or follow the link off CEC's Facebook page. Enjoy!

OFFICIAL KILOWATT KIDS

Youth attending CEC's Kilowatt Kid's Camp in Hugo take a coloring break while learning more about their co-op mascot, Willie Wiredhand. The free, half-day camp teaches kids the fundamentals of electricity and electrical safety. Campers also learn why energy conservation is important to their family and their electric co-op.

For more details about CEC Kilowatt Kid's Camp, please call CEC member services at 800-780-6486, ext. 241, 207, or 209, or visit www.choctawelectric. coop.
