JTNC Member to Play With the Pros

JTNC member is guaranteed to be in the field of the 2016


Web.com Tour’s Stonebrae Classic. The only thing that’s left is deter- mining which fortunate junior will earn the spot. We’ll find out on June 28, when the JTNC hosts an 18-hole qualifier at the home of the Classic— TPC Stonebrae in Hayward. The field for the qualifier will be


limited to 84 contestants, with the winner getting a full exemption into the championship. The runner-up will get a spot in the Pro-Am, to be held the Wednesday of champion- ship week.


Those trying to qualify must


be a JTNC member, who’s already competing in the JTNC Champion- ship Flight and is a Youth on Course member. Proceeds from the qualifier will go to YOC. “It’s an incredible opportunity,”


said JTNC director Aaron Hartes- veldt. “The JTNC will be sending one its members to play in a PGA Tour sanctioned Web.com event. We’re very excited and thankful to the folks at the Stonebrae Classic for giving us this opportunity.” This year’s Stonebrae Classic will –J.S.
