SingleEZ light guide Schott has released fibre optic illumination for manufacturers of single-use endoscopes. Te SingleEZ product family consists of a light guide, a light guide and camera combination, and a full package with the light source. Te products deliver a 120° light beam angle,
which enables shadow-free illumination by matching the imaging angle of the camera. It also improves colour rendering index of the endoscope, because light is accurately brought to the point of action. Schott’s light guide transports light through
passive glass fibres, meaning the heat- generating LED light source is kept away from the tip of the endoscope and the human tissue. Te module includes the SingleEZ light
AI Gateway platform Pleora Technologies has introduced an AI platform to simplify the deployment of machine learning. Dutch firm PerClass has also released a hyperspectral plug-in for Pleora’s AI Gateway platform. AI Gateway provides plug-in machine learning
skills for classification, sorting, and defect detection. Users can also train and deploy open source or custom algorithms. Trough a simple web-based interface, images
and data are uploaded to training software on a host PC, which generates a neural network deployed onto the Pleora AI Gateway. Te system receives the camera feed, automatically performs the plug-in or custom AI skill, and transmits the pre-processed data over a real-time GigE Vision

Vicore smart system Teledyne Dalsa has launched Vicore, a system for inspection applications using 2D, thermal and 3D imaging, or a combination thereof. It provides front-accessible connections for cameras, I/O and system components. Tis includes a dedicated industrial Ethernet port that offers communication with factory devices using Ethernet/IP or Profinet. Vicore can be set up as a standalone system,
with attached HDMI display and keyboard, or as a remotely accessible networked device through its LAN port. It offers a choice of embedded application software, including iNspect.

45MP Spark camera JAI has introduced the SP-45000-CXP4, a 45-megapixel industrial camera in its Spark series. Te camera’s global shutter CMOS sensor is capable of running at 52fps at full, 8,192 x 5,460-pixel, 8-bit resolution. Te camera has a dark noise rating of 4.5
electrons, and a standard dynamic range of 67dB. A high dynamic range mode, which uses a dual gain technique, boosts the dynamic range to 73dB with a maximum frame rate of 30fps. HDR output can be delivered in a 14-bit linear format, or in a knee-point compressed format at a bit depth of 8, 10 or 12 bits. For lower-speed applications, image quality can
be enhanced by the camera’s frame integration capabilities to average up to eight consecutive frames, reducing shot noise in the image. Monochrome and raw Bayer models are available;
both feature a four-lane CoaXPress interface. JAI has also released a new Fusion series
prism-based, multispectral camera, featuring three separate multispectral wavebands. Te FS-3200T- 10GE-NNC uses a dichroic prism that divides incoming light to three separate CMOS imagers, while maintaining a common optical path.
