Windows 10 in S mode Designed for education
Windows 10 in S mode is tailored for education. Security underpins S mode, as all the applications that you can use are verified by Microsoft, and downloaded from the Microsoft Store. You’ll also be secure when you’re online, browsing through the Microsoft Edge, your default browser. As well as security, you can expect speed from this operating system, as it’s been designed to boot up quickly, and remain that way for the lifetime of the device.
It’s also as flexible as you need your OS to be. You can browse the thousands of apps that are on the Microsoft Store. But if for some reason you can’t find what you’re looking for, you’re able to switch the device out of S mode, and look on the internet.1
Windows 10 in S mode is available on a range of PCs and despite being a lighter version of the operating system, you still have the newest features including Windows Hello and Windows Ink. 1. Please note, if you switch out of S mode, you can’t switch back into S mode. TechKnow
