s I write this letter, today 10/29 is my birthday. What is my wish? I wish by the time you read


this, the mass-media political ads and hype will be over, and the Presidential election results will be calculated accurately. Wishful thinking, for sure!


In times of stress, I always remember the best advice


from my father Rod Jones, former Publisher: “If there is a Will, there is a Way.” And, “Keep the faith!” Margaret Mead’s famous quote above is forever in my mind, too. During the 2020 lockdown, many memories


resurfaced mostly in my sleep/dream state: Good & Bad memories. For example: In 1983 I was determined to study at a Japanese university as a college abroad student (Kansai University/Osaka). I could only afford a one-way ticket— and I took that chance….Great memories, I stayed five years to 1988! Within that time period, I volunteered for the Japan/


American Field Service which took me to Bangladesh. It was during the 1985 President Ershad riots, even cannibalism was in the Chitagong Hill Tracts. Yes, a scary time! However, I arrived safely to the orphanage. I have wonderful memories. Te orphans had perfect white teeth, with no toothbrush use, just a stick! And, they did not consume white sugary/processed foods. Hmmmm, keep that in mind! I also helped at a Bangladesh Leprosy hospital with belief for a cure. Just as challenging (but on safer Florida ground), I


also took a chance in 2000 to publish this free magazine. Tank you all for your loyal support for over 20 years! Coming in the December edition, we will share
