Careers and Placements The support you get from Aston doesn’t end on graduation day. We have a team of friendly and experienced careers professionals who can help you to prepare for your next challenge – starting your career. You can access our service for up to three years after you graduate. The team can provide support with a number of things, such as:

> Exploring your career options > Writing an effective CV, cover letter or application

> Helping you find vacancies in the UK and abroad

> Looking into alternative options such as volunteering, self- employment or further study

> Perfecting your interview technique with practical advice and support.

Aston Futures As a graduate, you can still access Aston Futures, our online portal. You can use this to register for careers events, book an appointment with a member of the team and browse hundreds of opportunities posted by employers actively looking to recruit Aston graduates. You will need to complete the ‘graduate registration’ using your personal email address to get started.

The Graduate Team We have a dedicated Graduate Team to support you on the next stage of your journey. They can help you to identify new opportunities and let you know when jobs come up that you may be interested in. Plus, if you send them a copy of your CV, they’ll be able to match it to suitable vacancies.

They also send out frequent e-newsletters that are packed full of handy resources, upcoming events and graduate opportunities, so keep an eye on your inbox for that.

Email careersgradteam@aston.ac.uk to start a conversation with the team.
