Nightsearcher r elease new Zoom range of flashlights and head torches


NIGHTSEARCHER, a Hampshire-based company specialising in the design and manufacture of LED lighting solutions, have introduced the the company’s most advanced range of spot-to-fl ood fl ashlights and head torches.


The Zoom fl ashlight range includes two rechargeable models (110 and 1000 lumens) and two battery-operated fl ashlights (370 and 500 lumens).


All Zoom fl ashlights feature an easily- operated spot-to-fl ood function - slide the head of the fl ashlight outwards for a super-bright concentrated spot beam, and slide it back towards the body of the fl ashlight for a wide fl ood beam.


The Zoom fl ashlight body has a secure- grip pattern that makes it easy to handle, and with the Type III, hard anodised aluminium housing is built to last in the most extreme of conditions. Light modes are easily changed from the tail cap tactical switch.


The Zoom 580R head torch has 580 lumen light output and a removable rechargeable 3.7V


800mAh lithium-ion battery, but can also be used with 3 x AAA alkaline batteries.


A spare rechargeable battery can also be bought to ensure the Zoom 580R is always ready to go.


The Zoom head torch


provides an easy-to-switch spot-to-fl ood beam:


rotating the bezel to zoom allows the beam to move from wider and closer for long distances.


proof up to IP64 (Zoom 110R fl ashlight and Zoom 580R head torch) or IP66 (Zoom fl ashlights 1000R, 500, and 370).


NightSearcher’s Managing Director, Colin Howard, designed his fi rst range of specialist lighting products in 1989.


Initially, these products equipped the uniform and emergency services sectors, and the private and public sectors.


Distributing these products across these sectors allowed the company to gain a reputation for delivering reliable, quality products and professional customer service. The range was


soon expanded to include products for sectors such as industrial and utility, tactical


and military and The Zoom’s primary torch features three light


modes: High (580 lm), Medium (270 lm) and Low (30 lm) with a maximum 150-metre beam.


The secondary torch has a diff used warm white LED (10 lm), perfect for detailed or close-up work that calls for a softer light, with a more even distribution to avoid strain on the eyes.


Adjustable head


The beam angle on the Zoom 580 head torch can be adjusted 90°, and the head strap is also adjustable to suit a variety of users.


The runtimes for the Zoom 580R are 2.5 hours to 18 hours depending on the light mode, and the head torch also includes a handy 2Hz fl ashing light mode for emergency purposes.


The entire Zoom range has a three-year warranty, and is both water and dust-

Today, NightSearcher lighting solutions are distributed in over 30
