SPONSORSHIP The SFT is offering sponsorship opportunities to companies to assist it with the funding of this Anniversary and in particular the funding of two activities upon which it is embarking: the New Generation Project for the benefit of young people in the feed industry and also the collation project of the history of the feed industry since 1967. The cost of this sponsorship will be £250. All sponsors will receive public acknowledgement via their logos throughout the Anniversary Celebration and at subsequent conferences in 2017 and will have the right to introduce two new members in 2017 free of the annual membership fee. New Generation - 4:30pm A forum to enable younger members of the SFT to become more involved in the Society, its activities and its direction. Led by Melanie Blake of Cargill.


Drinks Reception - 7:00pm


Black Tie Dinner - 7:30pm Speaker: Peter Slack, Derbyshire Dairy Farmer and After Dinner Speaker. Presentation to Mrs. Mabel Foye for over 40 years of service to the SFT. Overnight accommodation is available with ample parking, and is included in the fee for this special event.


Friday 9th June - Harper Adams University - 9.15am A tour of the nearby Harper Adams University livestock production and research facilities including commercial dairy, beef, sow, commercial layer, broiler and fish units. Starts at the university at 9.15am. Delegates to make their own way the 10 miles (20 minutes) to the university (TF10 8NB) where a plentiful supply of parking spaces will be reserved. Noon depart after light refreshments.


Accommodation Rooms have been reserved at the all-inclusive rate below until Wednesday 10th May. Room allocation is strictly on a “first come first served” basis. Rooms are all single occupancy unless otherwise requested. After 10th May unreserved rooms are to be released back to the hotel for general sale. If you are not able to reserve your place at the Anniversary Celebration by 10th May please discuss availability and costs with John Davies who will try to help.


Anniversary Fee The fee includes coffee, lunch, tea, conference papers, dinner plus wine, history display, overnight accommodation, breakfast and tour of nearby Harper Adams University and light refreshments. One fee is to be charged independent of what elements of the event are utilised.


SFT Members: £160.00 + £32.00 VAT = £192.00 Non-Members: Non-members are permitted to attend providing they become members of the Society at the special reduced annual subscription rate of £27.50 + £5.50 VAT = £33.00 for the first year of membership only.
