Construction starts at Taylor Wimpey’s latest


development


in Sully Taylor Wimpey South Wales has announced that construction of 325 homes at its Gwêl yr Ynys development in Sully has officially begun. The development, which will deliver a collection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, has been designed to provide a range of options for first time buyers and growing families.


As part of the planning agreement with the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Taylor Wimpey is investing over £4,643,700 in the local community under the Section 106 agreement. This includes £3,490,409 towards education and £650,000 towards sustainable transport. Other contributions include £321,262 to improving community facilities, £158,099 for public art works and £24,000 towards off-site works. Lovell was the first ever UK contractor to receive this accreditation back in 2009 and has been reaccredited through assessments every three years since. Not only do these ensure the delivery of community engagement and customer care, but also support the safety of residents and communities, whilst providing them with confidence that services will be provided in an efficient and effective way.
