Bellway celebrates two- year anniversary of work on former TV studios

Bellway were joined by some of its most recent residents to celebrate two years of work at a development of new homes which has redeveloped the former home of ITV Wales.

Staff were joined by residents and guests at St Lythans Park, a development of 224 new homes off St Lythans Road in Culverhouse Cross. Bellway started construction work at the development in 2015, aſter ITV Wales moved from the site to new state of the art facilities in Cardiff Bay. Bellway’s detailed plans were approved in March 2015, and work began shortly aſter before the first homes were launched in November of the same year. As well as providing new homes at the site, St Lythans Park will also generate investment totalling almost £1.5m towards education, community facilities, sustainable transport and public art as part of the planning agreement. Sales Manager for Bellway’s Wales division, Carly Maidment, said the event had been a great way to mark the anniversary of launching St Lythans Park. She said: “St Lythans Park has really begun to take shape and a fantastic community has formed here already, so we thought it would be a great chance to get everybody

together to celebrate our second anniversary. “Tis has been a flagship development for Bellway Wales and construction has been progressing well.
