EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW PREVIEW continued

Barrus to launch Yanmar engine duo

Two new models have been added to the Yanmar TNV family of common rail engines which are EU Stage 3b and Stage V compliant. “A key benefit is Yanmar’s exhaust gas management technology for the diesel particulate filter (DPF),” commented John Day, General Manager of the Industrial

Division at distributor, E P Barrus. “Extremely long STAND H32

maintenance intervals of 6,000 hours, effectively the

lifetime of most machines, can be achieved by eliminating operator downtime.” The two new engines are the three-cylinder 3TNV86CHT (33.3kW at 2,600 rpm) and the four- cylinder 4TNV86CHT (48.5kW at 2,600 rpm). Both have

Bosch and Denso common rail direct fuel injection systems. Two new Trelawny tools

As well as showcasing its range of low-vibration air tools and surface preparation equipment, Trelawny will exhibit its brand new Electric Needle Scaler and Heavy Duty Floor Scarifier. These two newcomers

were developed and tested throughout the latter part of 2019, ready for launch this year, and will complement

Trelawny’s existing range of scalers, scabblers, floor planers and grinders.

Electric addition from EC Hopkins

EC Hopkins is the exclusive UK distributor for ICS diamond chainsaws and will display the complete range on its stand. The products are designed to enable the user to make deep cuts with square corners and no overcut, whilst preserving the integrity of the building. In addition to the existing hydraulic and petrol-driven

models, the company will launch a new electric variant. This saw offers a depth of cut up to 30cm and is available in both 110V and 240V. Also new is ICS Rentmax chain which fits on both the electric and petrol saws. It is designed for general purpose use and is aimed specifically at the hire market. It is available in 30cm, 35cm and 40cm lengths.

HSC hits number one

In a cleverly worded Preview announcement, The Hire Supply Co (HSC) says that the Executive Hire Show is always one of its highlights of the year. It states that, with an array of new products and services, 2020 is set to be an exciting year and there is no better place to showcase them all under one roof. One is the magic number for HSC.

Now with one catalogue, one website (in development) and one team to service all of customers’ needs, this streamlining exercise has made it easier to do business. The HSC and MSC catalogues have now been merged into one, and shortly after the Show, the new website will be officially launched. New products on display will range from lighting,

STAND E42

heaters, water pumps and generators, to compaction equipment and electrical distribution items. HSC also advises customers not to miss out on the one-time-only show deals that will be available. The company’s stand is obviously one to look out for.
