ISSUE 164

September 2019

by Richard Hollis, Editor

LAST year, there were those who predicted that RWM 2018 would flop. There were cries of high costs and a stale atmosphere at what was once the UK waste industry’s biggest and most essential event. And yet the show was busier than it had been in years and proved that new organisers, Prysm Media Group, were capable of getting the show back on its feet.

With this in mind, it feels like the stakes are higher still for RWM 2019. With exhibition stands still a pretty penny and many machinery suppliers having attended the impressive Letsrecycle Live show earlier in the year (and doubtless compared notes about the shows), now is the time to prove last year was not a fluke and the show can still draw in the business.

I know we here at Skip Mag Towers look forward hugely to the event and have been long-time supporters of the show. If my team is to be believed and the show is anything like last year’s, then I’ll be rushed off my feet for two days straight.

Turn to page 16 to find some of the biggest exhibitors and see why they are not to be missed this year.

Also, please do put Stand S15 on your must-see list and say hello to us. I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.

As ever, please enjoy the magazine and don’t forget to follow us on social media – we always love hearing from you!
