CHURCH INSURANCE CONSULTANTS...

Lynne Ingham (MIDLANDS)

Lynne’s 30-year career in insurance and a lifetime of involvement in the church family has been great preparation for her role as a church insurance consultant. Lynne enjoys meeting dedicated church volunteers, and using her risk management experience to assist them with their insurance responsibilities. With a background in

insurance within the hospitality industry, Lynne appreciates the similar challenges faced by both pubs and churches in the current economic climate, as well as their significance in the community.

In her spare time, Lynne enjoys singing in her local choir and loves being at home with family and friends.

Kay Short (NORTH)

Kay started her career in underwriting so has in-depth insurance knowledge. She has built on this throughout her career, moving into advisory roles in both insurance and risk management. Recently, Kay spent a year with the Leeds Diocesan Board of Finance (DBF) helping parishes look at how church buildings are used for mission, and thinking creatively about their future use. Kay’s experience in insurance, risk management and close work with Leeds DBF is ideal for her role as church insurance consultant.

Kay was recently licensed as a reader and has served on PCCs, core groups and as churchwarden.
