Machinery News Cut DTF transfer motifs in a flash
S
ecabo has recently presented a new type of flatbed cutter with a conveyor belt. This allows the DTF MultiCut Pro to automatically pull in film rolls and cut them precisely. The device is unique on the market and makes automation affordable for textile finishers who do not need industrial applications. The Secabo DTF MultiCut Pro can automate up to 1,000 transfer motifs per hour. A high-performance camera captures the registration marks of the printed media at lightning speed and automatically loads the associated cutting data. The cutting itself is also fast: the device needs between 30 and 60 seconds for a typical area of 60 by 88 cm. The cut motifs end up in a catch tray. Only one worker is required for occasional care. This frees up time to take care of pressing the transfers, for example.
Automated DTF - and more Particularly interesting for promotional products companies: in addition to films for DTF textile transfers, many other materials can be processed - whether on rolls or as sheets: UV DTF adhesive films and sublimation prints as well as self- adhesive films or cardboard. So far there are plug-ins for CorelDraw and Adobe Illustrator, and the connection is made via WiFi, Ethernet, or USB.
