Gerflor and Gradus score top marks at Jersey convent school B
eaulieu Convent School is a Roman Catholic independent school for girls located in St Helier, Jersey. When the education facility needed an urgent refurbishment, the well-established Catholic convent school would see international flooring specialist Gerflor supply a wide range of its internationally
acclaimed floorcoverings. This included its Olympic pedigree Taraflex sports floorings, Creation LVT and Tarasafe Safety vinyl. Alongside this, Gradus matting and finishing solutions were also installed as part of the refurbishment programme.
Chris Pursey, Gerflor Specification Area Sales Manager, Southwest, and Channel Islands commented, “It was remarkable to be able to specify solutions for every part of the building, from the main sports hall, dance studio, gym, changing rooms and corridors. Even the finishing accessories including stair edgings and matting.”
The overall responsibility for the refurbishment project would be managed by St Helier-based, Page Architects. The installation element of the Beaulieu Convent School project would be undertaken by London-based JW Contract Flooring Ltd. It was completely seamless in terms of arranging the logistics and the lead times on the products were remarkable.”
