CONTENTS Dear Reader,

Welcome to the latest issue of Education Today. In our penultimate issue of the school year, this month we take an in-depth look at some of the uses of software in schools, including

reducing the administration burden on teachers; using a learning management system; and making sure your parental communications are running effectively. Given the approaching end of term, we also have two features on school maintenance and design to give you some ideas ahead of the long summer break.

Elsewhere we have all our regulars on hand to offer insight and advice, and I’m delighted to welcome Emma Sanderson, Managing Director of Options Autism, to our line up of regular contributors – she will be part of the SEND team alongside Jayne Foster. We also have a lovely View from the classroom piece this month featuring headteacher Kate Barnes and the children at Haimo Primary School in Eltham, who demonstrate the benefits of immersive learning and what it means for everyone at the school. Remember, we love to hear from you, you can get in touch with us via Twitter @EdTodayMag, as well as by phone or email!
