Starting secondary school is a big step. For some children, the move from Year 6 to Year 7 can feel overwhelming and can affect confidence, wellbeing and readiness to learn.


Our DfE-accredited Online Alternative Provision supports Year 6 pupils who may be experiencing anxiety around change, reduced engagement or emerging barriers to learning.


Supporting pupils through transition


Academy21 provides targeted support with a focus on reintegration and transition helping primary pupils to:


Build emotional wellbeing and confidence Develop social and communication skills Manage anxiety linked to change Acquire strong functional reading, writing and maths skills
