difference to learning outcomes, with positive learning environments leading to better results, and poorly designed school buildings doing the opposite.
With many modern schools now facing overcrowding and seeking solutions to accommodate more pupils, now is the time to make comfortable and stimulating classroom environments a priority. While budgetary pressures and conflicting priorities may have held schools back from making practical changes in the past, the construction of additional classrooms to house extra pupils is a perfect opportunity to focus on building positive learning environments that will be used and enjoyed to their full capacity.

his month, in our first feature, Education Today hears from Craig Riley on the benefits of using modular buildings for pupils’ learning. Craig is the Managing Director of Green Modular, a company which supplies unique and environmentally-friendly outdoor modular buildings as effective space solutions.
