5 COMMENT Dear Reader,

Welcome to this, Education Today’s special supplement looking at remote learning. I don’t need to linger over the reasons for our creating this – suffice to say all of us here at the magazine hope that you and yours are keeping well and managing your days as safely and efficiently as you can. In this issue we have gathered

comment and advice from a number of companies and individuals active in the remote learning space, with the aim of offering you some pointers for possible solutions to home schooling and remote teaching practice. I’m hugely grateful to all who have taken the time and made the effort to get this information to us at such short notice. For fast-breaking free or discounted

software news, I’m also updating our Twitter feed regularly as I hear from companies who are offering free software in this time of national emergency. Incidentally, the “regular” April issue

will be along in due course, with as many of the regulars as we can muster in such challenging circumstances, but we wanted to get this supplement out to you as soon as we could. Please bear with us while we round up the regulars and get the magazine ready. Finally, we love to hear from you,

now more than ever - you can get in touch with us via Twitter @EdTodayMag, Facebook and our homepage, as well as by phone or email.
