Virtual Worlds launches Version 7

Innovation-led 3D CAD design company, Virtual Worlds, has enhanced its award-winning Virtual Worlds Professional toolkit with the launch of Version 7.

The latest update helps to make the software simpler and quicker for designers to use – enabling accurate and quick generation of detailed plans which can then be viewed in Virtual Worlds’ industry- leading packages, including 4D and 4D Theatre.

The changes have included improvements to the 2D plans and elevations module which allow for the addition of custom design templates and a new control menu for editing and saving diagrams. Other

modifications have included a simplified

sketchpad, so designers can map out a room in a few

clicks, and enhancements to cutting techniques, meaning users are now able to cut holes or surfaces directly from a 3D item. Nathan Maclean, managing director at Virtual Worlds, said: “Users will find that the new changes have made Virtual Worlds Professional much quicker to operate than ever before, allowing them to turn designs around with ease and deliver kitchens and bathrooms that wow their customers.”
