Liyu England appoints SOS as premier UK reseller for large-format machines


Liyu England has announced Service Offset Supplies (SOS) as a premier UK reseller for the Liyu range of large-format printing machines. SOS will be offering the full line-up of Liyu high speed industrial large-format solutions, including Liyu flatbed models, Platinum KCXL, KCXL+ and KC; Liyu hybrid Platinum Q3XL and EQ3 models; and Liyu roll-to-models, high-speed printers such as the Platinum QR3, QR5 and PCT. As the official UK distributor, SOS will provide full sales, installation, training and aftersales support, backed by Liyu England’s experienced engineering and service team. Omran Anwar, joint MD at SOS, said: “We’re delighted to help grow the Liyu brand in the UK. It’s also about offering a growth path for our customers on their journey into the large-format market.”

Papergraphics invests £1 million towards sustainability

Papergraphics has announced a £1 million programme of sustainability initiatives, focusing on solar panel installation and balers for recycling plastics and cardboard materials. To reduce energy costs, more than 648 panels have been fitted which will be used for the company’s day-to-day requirements and its electric and hybrid vehicle fleets. The company has also invested in balers for plastic and cardboard, which are easy to use and have reduced waste, as Papergraphics processes hundreds of media rolls daily.
