Event Review | The Print Show

WHERE CONNECTIONS ARE FOSTERED AND MADE

COMING DOWN FROM THE HIGHS OF A SHOW CAN BE HARD – AS WELL AS TIRING – SO TO HELP GIVE THOSE WHO MISSED THE CHANCE TO ATTEND OR TO SEE EVERYTHING, ASSISTANT EDITOR, ANA LAMBERT, EXPLORES THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 10TH ITERATION OF THE PRINT SHOW.

With The Print Show celebrating its 10th anniversary and The Sign Show its second, it’s no wonder that the exhibition saw 5,567 attendees over the three days, from September 29 to October 1, for both co-located events. The overall attendance figure shows a 4% increase on last year’s total of 5,336. However, organisers highlighted that the 2025 show included around 350 visitors from the PPMA Show, driven by a partnership between the two events. After excluding ‘crossover’ visitors, attendance was 12% higher year-on-year. Chris Davies, event manager of The Print Show and The Sign Show, said: “The Print Show reaching its 10th anniversary made this one particularly special for us, and I am confident in saying that we put together the strongest exhibitor lineup we’ve ever had. “Seeing so many of the biggest names in the industry in the hall – HP

, Agfa, Roland DG, Epson, Konica Minolta

Attendees could visit the Knowledge Zone to hear from industry experts

and swissQprint to name just a few – alongside some fantastic independent businesses, gave visitors a great mix of technology, ideas and expertise. “The feedback we’ve had from exhibitors and visitors has been hugely encouraging, and the fact that we’ve already had companies talking to us about 2027 is a great sign. We’re hearing reports of plenty of on-site machinery sales, with deals done at the show easily exceeding £1m. “We’ve got plenty of ideas for how we can make both shows even better, and I’m already looking forward to getting started.”

EXCELLENT EXHIBITORS HP

, Epson, Roland DG, Agfa, Hybrid Services (Mimaki), swissQprint, Vivid Laminating Technologies, CMYUK, Very Displays and Soyang Group were just some of the companies exhibiting this year across the two events. Roland DG provided attendees with multiple new pieces of machinery on display, including the TrueVis AG-640 and the TrueVis VG4-640, with Hybrid Services presenting three new pieces of Mimaki technology too, including the new large-format JFX220-2515 flatbed printer. Innotech’s bright yellow stand stood out among the hall and presented its new Black Collection, a series of all-black hardware, including banner displays and lightboxes. Ultima Displays showed visitors a range of new products, one of which was the iLLUMiGO Modular lightbox display. Attendees could also see the QuickLink Rental Display Solution, a brand-new digital signage range, and custom Formulate samples. CMYUK took the largest stand in the show’s history, allowing it to showcase a range of leading kit, including the exciting EFI VUTEk M3h 3.2m wide UV LED hybrid printer. Chris added: “We are delighted with the response to both The Print Show and The Sign Show this year. “More people were in the hall across the three days, and that is a reflection on the quality of the events we put on. “It was the best lineup of exhibitors we’ve ever

had, with some of the biggest names in print in attendance.”

MOVES FOR MACHINERY With some of the biggest machinery names at the show, it was no wonder that attendees sought to peruse the offerings at the show. Alongside an increase in attendance numbers, organisers have said that early indications show more than £1m worth of business was conducted at the two events.

CMYUK also had a successful few days on its record-breaking stand with several deals. These included the sale of a new EFI VUTEk M3h 3.2m to Banner Box Print Solutions. In addition, Vivid Laminating Technologies sold

several pieces of machinery, including a new 3.2m Veloblade Nexus to Global Experience Specialists on the final day of the show. Taking part in the purchase of machinery, Andy

Webb, commercial director at Soyang Europe, said: “We confirmed the purchase of a new Vivid VeloBlade at the event, which will be installed in our brand-new Platinum Technologies LIYU showroom at our HQ in Lancashire.”
