“My PC is not in the best of health. The local repair place has looked at it four times, made various suggestions and handed it back seemingly fixed, only for things to go back to the way they were. Consequently I’ve not been playing much. I did manage to squeeze Baldur’s Gate 3 onto the wife’s machine without her noticing, but spending 300 hours in front of it might not be as easy.”

Richie Shoemaker, Editor

“I’ve been playing a lot of Fortnite and Sonic Origins Plus in-between new episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. I’ve also been watching that one IGN Japan video of Sonic Superstars over and over again, which is like playing a game, sort of, but with more yearning. Between Sonic and Like A Dragon Gaiden, it feels like SEGA heard The Legend of Zelda was going to be my favourite game this year, and took it as a challenge.”

Vince Pavey, Staff Writer

“I’ve gone back to Assassin’s Creed Origins in lieu of a vacation to Egypt this summer. I also played some Dead Island 2 and tried my luck with Wreckfest. The new metal album Foregone by In Flames is on heavy rotation. I’m also watching A Small Light on Disney+, which is essential viewing for all young people.”

Odin is a one eyed kitty and Salem is his derpier brother. These two are a playful pair who like nothing more than interrupting Teams meetings, playing with toys or taking as much space as possible on the sofa or bed. They’re the friendliest cats ever, and are always happy to roll around for new guests and get attention with their constant meows. Although when it comes to Odin, it’s more of a mew!
