Bent leaf lever versions of Omron ultra subminiature basic switches extend the options for wet or dusty applications Omron Electronic Components Europe has announced a new fully sealed, ultra subminiature microswitch providing substantially higher operating and releasing forces compared to existing solutions. The new bent leaf lever versions of the compact and flexible Omron D2GW microswitch increases operating force up to 1.5N and releasing force up to 0.1N. As with existing variants of the Omron D2GW, the new switches are totally sealed to IP67 (excluding the terminals on the terminal models) and operate in temperatures of up to 85°C. They maintain the exceptionally small size (8.3mm × 6.5mm × 5.3mm) providing the smallest switch of its type in the industry.

Innovative locking option for Mass Interconnect Interfaces Due to increased demand for their ODU-MAC® Black-Line connectors, ODU have launched a new stand-alone website to support test equipment OEM’s, by explaining their many interconnection options as clearly and quickly as possible. Most existing systems rely on manual lever- locking, but the ODU system also offers locking with an electromechanical push- button. Importantly, this also allows for automation, via remote control or integration into an online tester. Reliable measurements

are ensured by ODU's well-proven contact technology and the flexible configuration of interfaces.

If preferred, customers can have a customized total solution, with everything from a single source, including cable assembly.

Energy efficient, low-loss inductive components for environmental applications: Resource conservation begins with component efficiency German manufacturer SMP introduces inductive components for environmental applications. The components are fitted in inverters, power converters and high frequency converters used in waste and raw material recycling plants, garbage processing, or sewage and water treatment plants. The chokes, EMC filters, mid frequency transformers and soft magnetic cores from SMP are extremely energy-efficient, low-loss, and designed to perform flawlessly in harsh environmental conditions. The components

conform to thermal class H (180°C) according to DIN EN 60085, fire protection class HL3 according to DIN EN 45545 and protection classes from IP00 to IP66 according to DIN EN 60529. They can be used in PD4 environmental conditions.

Motion Detector IMD-1100 – possibly the smallest radar of its kind The IMD-1100 is a K-band radar front end for motion-controlled applications in the field. The sensor also enables the speed and direction of moving objects or persons to be detected. The antenna design boasts a detection area of 72° x 36° (field of view) and a typical range for the detection of people of up to 15 meters. With dimensions of just 20 x 15 x 2.7 mm, the product is impressively small despite its array of functions and range. Thanks to the compelling performance, more functions and the certification of worldwide use, the IMD-1100 is stirring things up with the low-cost motion detection competition. It is well-suited for large-scale use and suitable for pick-&-place production. As usual, InnoSenT offers high quality at a low price.
