A LOOK FORWARD Livespins Michael Pedersen, CCO
e have ambitious goals for 2023 that will see Livespins shift focus from onboarding suppliers to onboarding operators. We’ll do this directly and through aggregators. Our platform and product are in a good place, so now’s the right time to scale our reach. As part of this, we’ll be securing licences in new jurisdictions including Malta, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ontario. When it comes to product, we’ll keep enhancing our proposition to ensure we continue to deliver socially charged experiences that exceed player expectations. Right now, Livespins is applied only to the casino vertical, so we plan to explore and experiment with how it might fit in others. Could it work in traditional sports betting and even esports betting are questions we are asking ourselves.

Last year was a start-up phase for Livespins so our focus was on lifting it off the ground. We took a test-and-learn approach, and we’ll be doing the same over the next 12 months. I don’t see us deviating away from this approach as trying new ideas and being curious are baked into the DNA of the company. Casino and slot streaming has just experienced its “big reset” following Twitch’s decision to ban some online casinos from its platform. The whole space is now taking stock and considering how best to proceed. It’s put casino streaming in a state of flux, with different platforms making moves and streamers themselves rethinking their business models and how to monetise their audiences with many looking to switch from casino streaming to sports and esports streaming. I see this as a huge opportunity for Livespins to emerge as the go-to platform for operators, studios, and streamers, providing a responsible, sustainable environment for all stakeholders to leverage the rising popularity of streaming. Livespins streaming first and foremost takes place inside the casino lobby of licensed operators, making it possible for operators to control the streaming experience, ensure RG measures are in place etc, all of which are practically impossible to do on third-party platforms like Twitch, Dlive or similar.
We see huge potential for Livespins in North America as this is a market that truly understands entertainment and how it converges with gambling. US operators also have big budgets for marketing and especially brand ambassadors, and this opens up a lot of opportunities when it comes to streaming, as Operators can plug in their own brand ambassadors or influencers.

or 2023 we have a lot more hiring to do and we intend to produce 22 games, which is three times as many as we did last year. We’re also planning to enter a lot of new jurisdictions having integrated with GAN’s Super RGS aggregation platform. We’re very excited to release an avalanche of games to their mainly
US clients.
2023 will be like an accelerated version of 2022. Last year we set up all the processes necessary for aggressive growth, and this year we intend to take things to the next level in terms of game production. We have some trademarked innovative features coming out this year, and we’re planning on releasing our own progressive jackpots in the US, with the first one being linked across our Wild ‘n’ Free game series coming out this year. In 2023, we will also enter new markets including New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ontario, and Italy.
The big focus is on the US online casino sector where we expect to see the market maturing slowly as more suppliers enter and more states regulate. We expect to see online performance eventually decorrelating from land-based titles just like it did in European markets 10 years ago.
